Vladimir

Vladimir is the founder, developer, and author behind Player Benchmark. A semi-professional Rocket League player, he spent years training the mechanical skills that separate good players from great ones — reaction time, precision, decision speed — and got frustrated that the tools for measuring them were all solo, static benchmarks. So he built the competitive alternative himself.

Background

Vladimir has competed at a semi-professional level in Rocket League, where success depends on exactly the abilities Player Benchmark measures: split-second reactions, mechanical consistency under pressure, and the discipline of deliberate practice. That competitive experience shapes both the platform and the writing — every training protocol published on the blog is one he has tested on himself first.

Building Player Benchmark

Vladimir designed and programmed the entire platform solo: all 18+ games, the real-time multiplayer system built on Node.js and Socket.io, the ELO-based ranked matchmaking, the tournament brackets, and the anti-cheat system. Player Benchmark is his answer to a simple question — what if brain training games had the competitive depth of an esport?

About the Articles

Every article on the Player Benchmark blog is researched and written by Vladimir. The guides combine peer-reviewed research — studies on sleep and reaction time, digit span psychology, motor learning — with practical experience from thousands of hours of competitive play. Where an article cites a number, there is a study or a measured result behind it.
